Bethany Joy Galeotti & Amber Sweeney ~ This song may appear on Season 7 of One Tree Hill “Quicksand”
30.July, 2009
My camera died and I ran out of memory, so there was like another minute to this song…but guess what this means??? You will have to stay tunned and listen to the whole version of this song on Season 7 of One Tree Hill! He he.
This video was taken by me at Galeotti’s Restaurant Grand Opening on July 25, 2009!
Name of song: “Quicksand”
Album: “The Starter Kit” (unreleased)
Lyrics:
When they all tell me it’s over
Even the stars are aligned and I follow the sign so clearly
And still I fall in quicksand
Pulling me down
I follow the sign so clearly and still they catch me
Quicksand
Pulling me down
I’d like to say I make good use of my time while you’ve been away
And it’s true
I’ve been at my piano everyday
Thinking of you
They talk around
I hear them whisper
It’s the funniest thing
We think you’re gone forever
I know the truth
It’s just getting hard to believe it

My experience:
Aside from the 3 videos that I posted of Bethany Joy Galeotti & Amber Sweeney singing, Joy sang a couple more other songs. The reason that I didnt get a chance to record them is because my camera died and I ran out of memory. Which sucks. She also performed Feel this with Enation, but I was on the other side of the room at the time when I recorded it and the quality sucked anyways cause I was facing towards the windows and the sun reflected off the camera and you could barely see what I was recording. So I recorded it and then erased it so that I could have more room to record. While enation sang, I was standing in a bad spot. But then they asked everybody to clear the center cuz they had to move out equipment and bring in others. And I used that as my chance to move over to the other side. And I ended up being right in front of Joy.
I got Bethnay Joy Galeotti’s autograph and took a pic with her. And shes so funny, when I gave her the One Tree Hill Season 7 Promotional Pic to sign, shes like “Oh yeah the one where I look like a man”. Lol. Also, when Joy and Amber were testing their mics, they started singing califragilisticexpialidocious. Too bad I didnt get to catch that on camera, it all happened so fast and I wasnt expecting it. Also, in the middle of the songs, she like “This is the time where I make jokes, but I kinda ran out of them”.
When I met her, we shook hands, she asked for my name, and she signed an autograph and we took a pic together.
Joy is such a down to earth person. Shes so talented in so many things and desrves the best in life. Dont you dare forget to watch One Tree Hill Season 7 when it premieres. All you Leyton fans, we know your all mad that their not going to be in the next season, but that doesnt mean that you should just stop watching OTH like you claim your gonna do. After six years of hard work, what did Bethany Joy Galeotti, Sophia Bush and James Laffery do to deserve this (you guys wanting to stop watching one tree hill and saying that OTH is gonna lose at least half of its viewers). Also, you guys shouls support Bethnay and Amber and all all their current and future albums that come out. I know I’m going to.

About Niyoki:
Niyoki learned many valuable musical lessons during her three years with Prince. “We came from a gospel background, and he used to get on us a lot about over-singing, so I learned how to use volume as a vocal technique and not be so hard-hitting all the time,” she explains. “He showed us how to put parts together in the studio. I listened to that and watched him, and that helped me to be able to put my own harmonies together now. However, I do realize that the gift I have comes from God.”

Niyoki “Joy” Lyrics:
You are the reason I have everything to live for
In the morning when I rise I lift my voice to you
I look to you Lord I lift my eyes
I give my day to you
Lord I thank you for who you are and all you’ve done for me
And you make me more than happy
What I have is everlasting
Chorus
*You give me*
Joy, joy, joy unspeakable
Joy, joy, joy down in my soul
Some people don’t understand this new life change in me
They remember the former times and the girl I used to be
But who the Son sets free is oh so free indeed
And it makes me more than happy
What I have is everlasting
You are the reason I have everything to live to for
And my heart is open, ready to receive so much more
And it makes me more than happy
What I have is everlasting
Joy unspeakable, full of glory, remarkable
Lord I thank you for my life, it’s so incredible
And I want you to know that it’s critical
Jesus is the best thing, He makes my heart sing

Animal Sacrifice:
Leviticus
God gives detailed instructions for performing ritualistic animal sacrifices. such bloody rituals must be important to God, judging from the number of times that he repeats their instructions. Indeed the entire first nine chapters of Leviticus can be summarized as follows: Get an animal, kill it, sprinkle the blood around, cut the dead animal into pieces, and burn it for a "sweet savor unto the Lord." Chapters 1 - 9
Human Sacrfice:
Genesis, the first book of the Bible, has Abraham preparing to sacrifice his son to God. "Take your son, your only son – yes, Isaac, whom you love so much – and go to the land of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which I will point out to you." (Genesis 22:1-18)
in Leviticus 27:28-29, the Lord allows for no redemptions. "Note also that any one of his possessions which a man vows as doomed to the Lord, whether it is a human being or an animal, or a hereditary field, shall be neither sold nor ransomed; everything that is thus doomed becomes most sacred to the Lord. All human beings that are doomed lose the right to be redeemed; they must be put to death."
"At that time the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jephthah, and he went throughout the land of Gilead and Manasseh, including Mizpah in Gilead, and led an army against the Ammonites. And Jephthah made a vow to the LORD. He said, "If you give me victory over the Ammonites, I will give to the LORD the first thing coming out of my house to greet me when I return in triumph. I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering."
"So Jephthah led his army against the Ammonites, and the LORD gave him victory. He thoroughly defeated the Ammonites from Aroer to an area near Minnith – twenty towns – and as far away as Abel-keramim. Thus Israel subdued the Ammonites. When Jephthah returned home to Mizpah, his daughter – his only child – ran out to meet him, playing on a tambourine and dancing for joy. When he saw her, he tore his clothes in anguish. "My daughter!" he cried out. "My heart is breaking! What a tragedy that you came out to greet me. For I have made a vow to the LORD and cannot take it back." And she said, "Father, you have made a promise to the LORD. You must do to me what you have promised, for the LORD has given you a great victory over your enemies, the Ammonites. But first let me go up and roam in the hills and weep with my friends for two months, because I will die a virgin." "You may go," Jephthah said. And he let her go away for two months. She and her friends went into the hills and wept because she would never have children. When she returned home, her father kept his vow, and she died a virgin. So it has become a custom in Israel for young Israelite women to go away for four days each year to lament the fate of Jephthah’s daughter." (Judges 11:29-40), and there are MANY more examples
I have had to ask this question again as there have been no real reasons but "don’t question gods will"…..to me a perfect god would never be about or into blood to wash sins. I just want to know how Christians can justify such bronze age beliefs?
Timmy…you need to read the bible…your god like animal blood sacrifices in the ot and needed, yes needed jesus blood to wash sins in the nt!
its a common trait with gods
Who sang this song??And what is the title of it?

She’s a bundle of joy
In a sweater and skirt
She’s a cute little toy
She’s a vamp and a flirt
She’s perfume and ribbons
A cure for the blues
She’s—————————
She’s the devils food cake
That you meet after school
She knows how to make you
Feel just like a fool
She’s kittens and kisses
You couldn’t refuse
She’s ——————————-
What a smile
When she shows it
She makes music
When she talks
She’s got style
And she knows it
You can tell by
The way she walks
She’s a trip into space
In a rocket for two
She’s sequins and laces
And bubble gum too
She’s stolen the heart
That I’m happy to lose
