Depends on your budget but I would go this way
1 -Heart And Soul is the most complete compilation - however it also duplicates the 2 albums and features a live disc. Although it’s a box set it still isn’t the complete works of Joy Division but is the most exhaustive. Worthwhile especially for the versions of Ceremony and an early version of Atmosphere (played on toy piano)
2 - Substance was an attempt at classing Joy Division works as singles, - which is nor really true - it probably contains the best songs that are on Heart and Soul but is nowhere near as exhaustive - 1 disc, not 4
3 - Still was Factory’s first attempt at cataloguing Joy Division and is a bit hit and miss. It doesn’t include the two singles or Atmosphere but does include JD’s last live performance and a cover of Sister Ray in which Curtis actually cracks a joke
The greatest hits compilations don’t really add anything new to the above apart from Permanent has a remixed version of LWTUA

If you get Heart and Soul there’s no real need to get Substance or the Greatest Hits, as just about everything on there but Still is worth a purchase as well

If you’re on a budget get Substance

If you’re a compulsive Joy Division Fan - get everything (I’m possibly in this category)

I believe that there are many wonderful Christians. People who follow a religion are people who need that structure in their lives. Nothing wrong with that, we are all different.

It only becomes wrong when you want to force your religion on me through our laws. Or when you want to dumb down our children at school.

As i.jones mentioned, it depends on the arrangement. The Myra Hess arrangement is the most popular but to play it correctly will take some time. Just working out a good fingering will take some time. There are other arrangements that sound very nice and are much easier to play. I would go browsing at a good sheet music store.

I geuss what I mean is , what is something you have done since you were a child that has always brought you real wonder and joy?For me it is going to flea markets and collecting antique candles and candle holders.

I find joy in random conversations with strangers while I’m standing in a check out line. Sometimes we "click" and it’s like there’s a sense of being on exactly the same wave length - an equal give and take that brings inner peace and mutual encouragement.

At other times I am stymied by the amount of personal info a stranger will share, continuing on so long that I begin to feel uncomfortable and need to escape. At times like this, I wonder what it is about me that attracts these talkative strangers.

During your flea market searches, have you ever found something that you just knew was waiting there for you, and you alone ? LIke you find it in a place where it absolutely does not belong ?
