If believing Christians teach things other than Joy, Peace and Righteousness are they wrongful sinners?
31.January, 2011
I believe they are, where Paul in Romans talks about people’s meat and drink not godly if it isn’t Joy, Peace and Righteousness being the basis of spreading the Gospel. To be bearers of Good News believing Christians don’t need to mince the Words of God the Father where their meat needs to be godly, and the above characteristics are the supreme foods. Without the above characteristics their meat would become rotten and stink within their tomb. (My knowledge and Trinity beliefs and Holy Bible.)
Be careful of judging others according to your own opinion.
It is not wrong to teach God’s Word, what’s wrong is to add, subtract, distort or manipulate it.
How can a Christian maintain their joy when living within a society of rude people?
13.January, 2011
The rudeness that I witness every day when going out into the public depresses me to the point that I sometimes just want to hibernate.
It’s everywhere, especially when people have to wait, weather it be in a line up or at the gas pumps, or in traffic. People do rude things and say rude things. R & S is just one example, but it is everywere.
So back to my question: How can we maintain our joy in a rude society?
For i say the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that will be revealed in us I remember this and think i will not let people get me down i will shrug it of and let them be hateful and my reward will be heaven where there is no rude people or hate just a place of joy, peace, love and of course Jesus.
If you let someone anger you then they have already won I don’t give anyone the pleasure of victory i just smile take it and move on then there are the ones that are more annoyed.
Always forgive your enemies nothing annoys them more So true and fun to do. Remember we are the better people the righteous will always find victory and that gives me joy.
I have no joy or happiness at all. I don’t get it?
You are BLESSED when you suffer as CHRIST has suffered.
Is the book The Rain Ascends by Joy Kogawa against religion?
08.January, 2011
My teacher recommended this book for me to read for my ISU, I’m on page 34 and so far the book is good, but I’m beginning to get the feeling that this book is made to diss religion. I mean, I get that the Father is a hypocrite and this book is about hypocrisy too, but does this book have ANY characters that are religious and don’t hide things that are bad? Because if this book has any more characters that are religious and hide bad things, I’m sure as hell not reading this.BTW I have to finish reading an ISU book and write an essay on it by Tuesday that is why I’m hesitant on changing the book I’m reading.
I think it is
Christians, and anyone who wants to answer, what ideas, thoughts do you have concerning Heaven?
05.January, 2011
Some are saying it’s only temporary because we will be on this earth for the millenium. I’ve heard of several people who went to heaven and back and say it’s a glorious place as real and even more real than this earth. The colors are spectacular, perfect peace and joy unspeakable, you see all your relatives and friends, loved ones, who died before you, great reunion, fantastic music, etc. Do you have other thoughts about it?
Heaven is a real place described in the Bible. The word “heaven” is found 276 times in the New Testament alone. Scripture refers to three heavens. The apostle Paul was “caught up to the third heaven,” but he was prohibited from revealing what he experienced there (2 Corinthians 12:1-9).
If a third heaven exists, there must also be two other heavens. The first is most frequently referred to in the Old Testament as the “sky” or the “firmament.” This is the heaven that contains clouds, the area that birds fly through. The second heaven is interstellar/outer space, which is the abode of the stars, planets, and other celestial objects (Genesis 1:14-18).
The third heaven, the location of which is not revealed, is the dwelling place of God. Jesus promised to prepare a place for true Christians in heaven (John 14:2). Heaven is also the destination of Old Testament saints who died trusting God’s promise of the Redeemer (Ephesians 4:8). Whoever believes in Christ shall never perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).
The apostle John was privileged to see and report on the heavenly city (Revelation 21:10-27). John witnessed that heaven (the new earth) possesses the “glory of God” (Revelation 21:11), the very presence of God. Because heaven has no night and the Lord Himself is the light, the sun and moon are no longer needed (Revelation 22:5).
The city is filled with the brilliance of costly stones and crystal clear jasper. Heaven has twelve gates (Revelation 21:12) and twelve foundations (Revelation 21:14). The paradise of the Garden of Eden is restored: the river of the water of life flows freely and the tree of life is available once again, yielding fruit monthly with leaves that “heal the nations” (Revelation 22:1-2). However eloquent John was in his description of heaven, the reality of heaven is beyond the ability of finite man to describe (1 Corinthians 2:9).
Heaven is a place of “no mores.” There will be no more tears, no more pain, and no more sorrow (Revelation 21:4). There will be no more separation, because death will be conquered (Revelation 20:6). The best thing about heaven is the presence of our Lord and Savior (1 John 3:2). We will be face to face with the Lamb of God who loved us and sacrificed Himself so that we can enjoy His presence in heaven for eternity.

What happens when a good, pious Christian goes to Heaven and?
04.January, 2011
…his/her loving spouse went to Hell? How would the Christian live an eternal life of joy? There would be no feeling of loss? Or, it’s cruel to think about, no feeling of regret? Are the memories of said important person wiped from the Christian’s mind?
Pious can many times be a form of religious pride. And our prides don’t go to heaven with us.
Loving spouses don’t go to hell. Love is eternal.
Christian spouses pray for their unbelieving spouse for their salvation. And GOD lets the believing spouse know the situation with their unbelieving spouse.
In heaven it is being in the presence of God’s faith, hope, love, joy, peace…
There is no feeling of loss, because if a Christian had prayed & received God’s assurance of their spouses salvation, then the Christian trust God in it. If God tells them that their spouse went to hell… then the spouse wanted to go to hell.
Usually good memories are eternal. The bad stuff gets fried away when our house gets tested by fire what we built on the ROCK foundation.
