You can search everywhere outside of God and will find nothing cause I been there. You can look for meaning in sex, drugs, pornography, Alcohol whatever and will never find what your looking for, and YOU KNOW IT!
We don’t hate, but desire you come along with us to heaven and not be lost.

Hello, Christians do not always have joy and peace of mind we also have sorrow, suffering and trials, just as everyone else, the difference is we can seek Christ Jesus for help, comfort and guidance, the peace is knowing Him and His forgiveness and that we are not and will never be alone….

What is the motivating source of a Christain’s true happiness? How can one find this Joy??

The Spirit of God that lives within our soul. With Jesus Christ we are completely transformed. All our sins are forgiven and the Lord replaces it with abounding joy!!

Yes it is, but you have to pursue it.

Joy and peace are part of what God offers us, but like anything else we have to take it up.

As a Christian I don’t always feel joyful or even peaceful - but that is up to me. I can choose to be negative, or I can choose to say well that is how I ‘feel’ but God hasn’t moved and joy and peace are still there for me and all I need to do is trust Him to see that they are outworked in my life.

I have often taught, ‘what you hear, is what you see, is what you do’ - in other words if you have negative thoughts e.g. I am a failure, then that is what you will see yourself as and that is what you will become.

I once tried this as an experiment - I was going on a motorway journey with my family - husband and I had just disagreed on something and I began telling myself I was useless etc. Believe me about half way through the journey I really believed this and felt distraught - a lesson learned the hard way.

Psalm 34:14 - ‘Seek peace and pursue it’ Psalm 16:11 ‘In your presence is fullness of joy’.

I know it is a reference to Luke 15, but cant find the lyrics. Anyone know name of the song?
some lyrcs.. "there is joy in the presence of angels when one sinner does repent…. joy joy joy in heaven today"

thanks,

see http://www.hymntime.com/tch/htm/a/n/g/angeljoy.htm for the lyrics

Our deepest relationship is with Him, and it is a relationship that is never-ending and always faithful. The secular person may wonder what this relationship feels like. It is an enduring experience of the sublime. Have you ever had a moment with someone you love in which you are transported into a transcendent realm that seems somehow outside space and time? Ordinarily, such experiences are rare and never last for long. For the Christian, the sublime is part of everyday life. Milton terms this a joy surprising Eden, “a paradise with thee, happier far.”

I used to be an atheist and I wanted to commit suicide because I saw no point in life, but now I feel like there’s always someone here for me. Has anyone else had such a dramatic change in life after accepting Christ into their life?

Yes, so much joy. :)

Where there’s a Wall
Joy Kogawa

where there’s a wall
there’s a way
around, over, or through
there’s a gate
maybe a ladder
a door
a sentinel who
sometimes sleeps
there are secret passwords
you can overhear
there are methods of torture
for extracting clues
to maps of underground passageways
there are zepplins
helicopters, rockets, bombs
bettering rams
armies with trumpets
whose all at once blast
shatters the foundations

where there’s a wall
there are words
to whisper by a loose brick
wailing prayers to utter
special codes to tap
birds to carry messages
taped to their feet
there are letters to be written
novels even

on this side of the wall
I am standing staring at the top
lost in the clouds
I hear every sound you make
but cannot see you

I incline in the wrong direction
a voice cries faint as in a dream
from the belly
of the wall

and how can you connect this peom to a real life situation

to me, this poem sounds like it could be interpreted in a few different ways. but it think it could be saying that the wall is really a problem in life. there are many ways of going about it and trying to overcome it, but many paths can force you to make bad decisions (the part where they’re referring to bombs and that stuff).

There are countless books on the joy of everything else. Why no book on the joy of religion?

I even saw a CD lecture series The Joy of Mathematics. If mathematics can be joyful seems to be religion ought to be joyously ecstatic beyond measure, and yet there is no Joy of Religion. What’s the problem?
.

But there IS a "Christianity for Dummies". Have you read it?

What was the webcam site shown on the third episode of The Joy of Teen sex on channel 4?
During this episode, the journalist Billie was trying to earn money on a webcam chat site. Did anybody see it and know which site it is?

If you are looking to do this, I would try Flirt 4 Free. I don’t know which one they used in the show, but F4F can generate big earnings fast. I am on it and make over $1000 every 2 weeks. The site has an easy to use interface, there are tons of customers.

I have been on there for a few months after trying first on LiveJasmin (HUGE tech issues all the time, not paying everything - nothing but issues). F4F has a community feel with the performers. The models have forums and can go to each other for help and support. The customers pay very generously on the site. Tehre are contests, icentives, and the overall feeling like they want you to succeed.

If you are thinking about trying it, DO IT. As long as you are friendly and patient you will do fine. You don’t even have to be hot. I’m not and I’m in the top 10% of performers. That comes from making the customers feel good. And you need to be patient. You don’t make money right away. It takes a week or so for the customers to get to know you and feel comfortable with you.

Here’s where you sign up if you are into trying it https://www.5pointsmodels.com/?idev_id=163

When things fall apart, it means much more responsibilities and trouble. How can a person have peace and joy being exhausted and worn out?

I’ve been there too. That’s the occasion when you actually discover faith. Despite what most people think, faith does not mean believing that there is a God. It doesn’t even mean believing certain things about God to be true. It means trusting God with your soul and your body (which, of course, you can only do if you believe certain things about Him to be true). That includes trusting Him to follow through on Christ’s promise in Matthew 6:25-34. It is because you know that things aren’t falling apart around God that you can keep from being exhausted and worn out and can experience the joy of the Lord. In fact, exhaustion may be a sign that you aren’t living out of faith in God but are trying to keep things together by your own ability instead. Lots of church people do. One might even suggest, if one were cynical, that most church people spend their lives trying to avoid situations where they would actually require faith . . .
