It speaks of the short time we endure chastisement for, when compared to the length of eternity of His love and unmerited favour, I would link it to;

Hebrews 12:11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

The christian walk, as we know, is not a straight line, strewn with flower petals, void of struggles, pains and even the loss of the joy of our salvation. So many things come in to compete with our love for the Lord, we become distracted, stumbled and stopped our pursuit of the Goal.. Christ.

What was the turning point for you, and how did the Lord bring you back to Him, to the freshness, sweetness of Him and the Joy of your salvation?

I was surrounded by Occultists, New Agers, and the like at work for 19 years and it was extremely oppressive. My church did little to comfort me in any way. It is only when I was going through emergencies that they stepped in and prayed and I was delivered several times, but for a long time, I was on the very edge of an emergency and felt like I could fall or jump off the cliff spiritually speaking. So after some time the situation escalated when again I had a supervisor who was deep into occultist behaviors. They place my seating right across a tiny aisle next to a New Age Guru (who claimed to be Catholic), and all the New Agers and Occultists revered her. She was a Filipino who had grown up in Hawaii and her mother had taken her to a witch doctor when she was young, and such was their life style.

So, having said that, they managed to "tag" me whatever that actually is, and used mind control on me. Turned out that this Guru meant my daughter in law, who is a Catholic psychic at a bingo game. She was invited to her house. So this pressure was always there and worse. So, the devil started using me in witchcraft in church. (Some time later this guru said she was going to my dil for psychic help) And this was astonishing to me and embarrassing to say the least or it just seemed to happen almost naturally, although it was not me, it was an evil spirit doing it, but my pastor was taken to glaring at me a lot, and then it became very evident that he and his assistant pastor were announcing things about me and warning people about me, so that it was impossible for me to have a friendship in the church. Whenever I did get into a friendship my pastor acted like I was trying to steal his sheep, but he reacted this way also when I showed up at a Full Gospel Business meeting with friends, including a pastor from another spirit-filled church. He thought that pastor was trying to steal me or that something subversive was going on. They became angry at my mentor and this pastor from the other church and it all ended bad for her and him I’m very sorry to say but I did need her as a mentor. He had a heart attack on the freeway when he was about 50 at the time.

So, how did I get back into good relationships? Yes, many relationships had become strained by that time. Well, it was a very long painful climb back up the mountain. I persevered and I just firmly believed God would restore me. I went through many attacks and hardships but finally the Lord brought me to a place of abundance and blessings. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. He is forgiving and he is there all the time and he does what he says he’s going to do. His promises are true and we can stand on them. We must persevere to the end. He plucked my feet out of the net, but the story is not done. I have more things to overcome now. My weight has gone way up for one thing, over 300. Please pray for me. I want to know what makes you just shout for joy, anything?
As soon as i get off my school bus I just shout whatever I can think of out loud no matter who’s around me.

Oh my gosh me too! Right when i get out of school I want to shout for joy… also after my last final before summer… when i left from my last final i literally shouted for joy across the quad and ran to the car….

Faith is having patience in God. Sometimes God tests our faith to see how we respond to a trial. We should consider it joy. Because it is our learning process in trusting God. And once we learn from that trial, we learn patience, which increases faith a great measure.

When one has great faith, he can survive anything this life throws at him.

Also consider this. Jesus said consider yourself bless when people speak false evil against you. And persecute you for the sake of the name of Jesus.

One may say, " how can I rejoice in this? " For one it confirms that you are a child of God. And a child of God has an inheritance into the kingdom of heaven. Yes and this is the gift of God.

Therefore one can rejoice in this know what is ahead. Knowing that if it is in God’s will that you are persecuted for the sake of the Name, you are a child of God. And the pain of being slandered, hurt, or persecuted is nothing when compared to the joys of heaven ah ead.

I just recently learned that the popular Christmas hymn "Joy to the World" was actually written by Watts in celebration of the future return of Jesus. Apparently the first half of the verses were cut and now the hymn is sung to celebrate Jesus’ birth. I can’t seem to find the first half anywhere.

I feel that spiritual joy comes from the soul, while happiness is short-term and is mostly associated with the corporal, ego self.
How would you describe these two words in a spiritual and metaphysical way?

Happiness is a transitory emotion that comes and goes with our circumstances in life at any given moment. Joy cannot be taken away from us and is a constant presence with us no matter how difficult our lifes.

which are the games that can be played by joy stick connecting through computer ?

You can connect joy stick to your computer only through a graphics card that has to be installed onto your system, if it is not yet already done. But the precaution to be taken is that, not all the graphic cards that are available have the facility for joysticks to be connected.
I recommend you to go with graphic cards that are sold by Asus. Asus graphic cards have a provision for connection joysticks to them, including older versions of it like the Radeon series. You can check out on their website for the graphic card that best suits your need and your budget.
You can play any game on your computer with your joystick, if it supports playing with a joystick.

I have and the curse is every day have no joy in the things i do or those I’m with.

I think we only live on this Earth once, so make up your mind to find joy in something everyday. I know what you are feeling because my life was turned upside down and the people who could turn it right side up have not done so. There is certain music that I can’t listen to because of the memories so I found other music, with no bad memories. Dwell on finding some joy not the fact that you don’t have it. Don’t just pray, do something…I do know how you feel. I couldn’t live being 100% miserable so if I find something pleasurable everyday then I am only 75% miserable. God never said this life was going to be easy. Be DETERMINED, find something that makes you smile, everyday.

i realized that our flesh doesnt have any motivation to want to pray, or want to learn more about the bible. Only the Holy Spirit. How does one gain more motivation, pursuit, discipline, and joy in the Lord?

Seek to be filled with the Holy Ghost. Jesus said seek and you shall find. Pray for God to give you a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Do not spend you time doing worldly things, such as TV watching as this takes your mind into carnality.
To become spiritual minded, one needs to meditate on the things of God, the beauty of his creation, study the Word of God and seek to learn the true meanings. Ask God to reveal it to you. The more you read it, the more you will be able to finally put scripture with Scripture in order to find real truth.

Only being filled with the Holy ghost can truly give one a spiritual mind. that and Scripture study. then of course when you pray, raise your hands in worship and do more praising God and thanking him than in asking for things.

True worship brings his presence. This is what gives the joy. when you are filled with the Holy Ghost your flesh will then also long for the things of God instead of for sin. Just begin to worship more and more. this brings his joy into your life. After you once feel the very presence of God standing in front of you, then filling you, you will then desire God and it will not be a thing you have to make yourself do.

Good luck and I would love to know how you do with it. you can grow to a place where the flesh does agree with the spirit and the complete person desires only God. the more you think on him, the more this will grow. I think on him continually. It is automatic.

You know… those people that suck every drop of joy out of your day? The same withered old codger who’s rude to everyone and has been around so long they know everything and don’t let your get a word in edgewise? The people who wear you down over time until you’re just one level above a quivering mass who communicates using a series of grunts and monosyllabic words? How do you deal with these people? Garlic doesn’t work and yelling is sort of frowned upon in the corporate environment.

yea seriously i think nothing annoys those people more than seeing that they dont affect you. just be overly happy around them. it will drive them crazy
