The rudeness that I witness every day when going out into the public depresses me to the point that I sometimes just want to hibernate.
It’s everywhere, especially when people have to wait, weather it be in a line up or at the gas pumps, or in traffic. People do rude things and say rude things. R & S is just one example, but it is everywere.
So back to my question: How can we maintain our joy in a rude society?

For i say the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that will be revealed in us I remember this and think i will not let people get me down i will shrug it of and let them be hateful and my reward will be heaven where there is no rude people or hate just a place of joy, peace, love and of course Jesus.

If you let someone anger you then they have already won I don’t give anyone the pleasure of victory i just smile take it and move on then there are the ones that are more annoyed.

Always forgive your enemies nothing annoys them more So true and fun to do. Remember we are the better people the righteous will always find victory and that gives me joy.

I believe in God and I believe in evolution. God created everything, including science, they aren’t mutually exclusive. Do atheists rob themselves of joy, wonder and mystery when they adhere to the adjunct of "there is no God"?

I see joy and wonder almost everyday, without the belief in your god.

Do you agree with this quote?

Well, there’s a first time for everything and if you experience sorrow for the first time, you’ll know what it is. Like being burned for the first time. During that initial experience you’ll learn what it is.

I don’t agree with the quote because it doesn’t make sense to me. Not saying the quote is senseless, just that I can’t wrap my brain around it. Perhaps it’s because I don’t/can’t associate sorrow with joy.

Maybe what they’re saying is the more sorrow you have the more you’ll appreciate or know how to appreciate the opposite? If that’s what they’re saying, I don’t/wouldn’t necessarily agree. I think I can totally appreciate joy without having to experience sorrow.

Everyone knows that most of the time, words dont do feelings justice. I often feel lonely in being unable to communicate feelings, even joy, into words, even when there is someone willing to listen. Do we just have to accept that loneliness goes hand in hand with life?

That depends entirely on the person and if they make the choice to allow the challenged person in. If you don’t want to be happy or find something that brings you joy, it doesn’t matter if the person is "normal" or "challenged" you won’t won’t be happy.
